With this tour you get the chance to visit the Neoclassical Trilogy of the City of Athens, comprised of the Academy, University and Library, all three on Panepistimiou street, exquisite examples of 19th-century architecture. The Academy was created with the donation of benefactor Simon Sina and is considered the finest work of the Danish architect Theophilos Hansen in Greece. Resembling an ancient temple, Academy’s marble façade is adorned with a multitude of sculptures, paying homage to the greek thinkers and deities of greek history.  In the middle stands the University, with the impressive frescoes on the façade, depicting the regeneration of the sciences in the country. On the right, the Library, built by Theophilos Hansen, under the supervision of Ernest Chiller, stands out for the impressive, double, elliptical stairway of the entrance.
